Uncle giving me away

My situation wasn't exactly the same as your situation. My father has a bad back and artificial knee, he opted to escort me down the aisle but not do a father/daughter dance with me. I asked my mother's 2 brothers to split the song and dance with me. For the song, I chose a song that always reminds me of my grandmother (their mother) which was a hit with my whole family. I would suggest checking the song section under inspiration, there will probably be a good list of songs that would work.

I'm sort of in the same situation. My dad (step) passed away in a motorcycle accident 6 years ago, and my bio "dad" is a POS. So my uncle is walking me down the isle and then he and my FFIL are splitting the father daughter dance. Assuming they want to, I haven't asked yet. Lol

Anyway, I haven't found a song either... So I'm watching! Sorry I'm no help.

In a similar situation. My stepdad passed away this past June he has been my dad since I was 5 and I'm now 22. My bio dad passed when I was 2. My mom and I were never close. This a lot of baggage between the two of us. I was thinking about my Aunt giving me away because she has always been more of a parental unit than anything. I wasn't planning on having a father/daughter dance.
