Ughhh....dress was the wrong color

Ashley1luv3, on September 22, 2018 at 4:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Went to pick up my dress today and as expected the dress was the wrong color. The ivory was yellowish and definitely not the color for me so I had to exchange for a white dress. It took only 3 weeks for the 1st dress to come in although they said it would be 6 weeks but now they say the estimated date is January. How do you go from a estimated 6 week shipping to 4 months. I'm praying it takes the same amount of time that the first dress took.....or at least not 4 months😔

My understanding is most retailers sell many fewer pure white dresses (compared with ivory and other off-whites), so they probably stock less inventory....

I'm so sorry! So frustrating. But don't worry, even if it does come in January you will have plenty of time for alterations!

No one buys white wedding gowns anymore because 9 times out of 10 ivory looks better on. so they dont usually keep them in stock and will probably have to now make you a dress in white. That is why it will take much longer for the white than the ivory.

Ivory is yellowish. Not sure what the misunderstanding was.
