Ugh!

So FH's brother is getting married next year ours is the year after no biggy. We are both in their wedding as best man and bridesmaid. FH has always wanted his mom to make his wedding cake. I agreed even though FMIL and I don't get along. Saves us money. FMIL told him she won't do ours unless she does the brothers which is fine. FSIL has said she is doing their cake. FMIL has not said anything to us about doing theirs or saying yes she can do ours as well. I get it's all about them at the moment that's fine with me I understand but I am also just trying to get my ducks in a row and I like to have everything planned out in advance. FMIL has not once asked about any of our wedding festivities and so on so I don't know if I'm just overreacting or if I should just look into other bakeries for a cake.
