Well, we originally were going to just do beer and wine, but now it looks like we're throwing in a signature drink, and going full bar. We're having 125 people, 5 hour event, is anyone good at this? How much/what should I buy in the beer/wine/liquor categories? Bleh. I don't drink much, so this...

Bleh. I don't drink much, so this isn't my area, lol. Any help would be awesome. I tried the Real Simple Wedding Calculator but it doesn't specify sizes that we'd need to purchase.

Help me, I'm always the DD, lol!

When I was looking to do my own bar, I came across this post. It's from a caterer, so they know. http://apracticalwedding.com/2013/01/calculate-alcohol-for-wedding/

Our venue actually supplies the beer and wine and we had the option of supplying the liquor. I currently have $600 worth of it in our attic! Vodka, gin, white rum, captain margan, grape vodka, whiskies, a scotch, tequila, fireball, jaget, and stuff to do washington apples. ..plus some I'm sure im missing!

I may sound super cheap - but what if you got cheap wine for the wine drinkers and just took off the labels? I did that for my sister's wedding and no one knew. I know that sounds absolutely horrible! :/ it helped when we spent $8 per bottle instead of $23.

We are at a winery, so we can only serve their wine. They are making a peach sangria, then a red and a white. No Kegs, so we are opting for bottles PBR, Coors Lite & Devil's Backbone. With 120 we are still trying to figure out how much beet to get.
