Ugh, embarrassing...

Aida, on June 26, 2019 at 12:16 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 2 10

Guys...I'm going to be gross for a second. I am wearing a strapless dress to my wedding. I have dark armpits and I was wondering if you all had any advice to try and lighten them up. Any products or home remedies or anything that I can try in the next year until my wedding. I appreciate you lovely and sweet ladies!

This is apparently the number one best seller for getting rid of dark pits on google! You can always try lemon juice toners. I hope this helps!

Yes I definitely recommend any scrubs mentioned!!! I scrub mine everyday honestly lol it just feels cleaner!

Lemon juice also has brightening qualities if you want to add a few drops to your palm and mix it with your scrub while you’re exfoliating!!

Lastly, about a month out from your wedding, I would stop wearing black or dark colored tops that touch your underarms, because they stain your skin in that area! Same for wearing black underwear too much, it’ll make your bikini area dark as well. It’s something about the moisture and constant rubbing in those areas that can stain that skin!

    Good luck ⭐️

So... I have had the same problem forever! Even right after shaving, my armpits have always looked dark. Since you have until May of next year, I would recommend getting laser hair removal. I started a year and a half ago, and finished maybe 6 months ago, and my underarms are no longer dark at all! So, so amazing. I was always super self conscious about it too, so it's a big deal to me.

I don't know if you have the budget for it, but I wanted to let you know what worked for me. I ended up paying $395 total for all 8 sessions, so you can find good deals. Check groupon for sure!

Agree with the above poster. If you can afford to do laser it's going to be your best friend. It has been the #1 life changing cosmetic/hygiene thing I have ever done in my life.

I 100% agree with this. Exfoliating and lemon juice toners are the only things that have worked for me!

In addition to all these suggestions waxing/sugaring might help!
