Has any one used or planning to use UBER event? It looks like a good option for paying for our guest transportation. I am just concerned that we'll create a pricing surge and end up with a giant bill. We're in Philadelphia so availability of UBERs won't be a problem.

I thought being able to preschedule them now was to help avoid the surge pricing? I could be wrong, I'm not a big Uber user. I did use Lyft in Vegas and liked it much more though idk if they offer event transportation like that.

Wait, you can pre schedule uber? My town literally has 1 taxi company, no hotel shuttles, and like 2 uber drivers so fill me in please.

As far as I know, It's not prescheduled. It's basically a code that you give your guests and then when they call an Uber that ride gets charged to your credit card. They have to be picked up or dropped off from your wedding location. I sounds like a good idea bc we have only a few guests staying at the hotel, just wondering if it's worked for anyone.
