Types of drinks?!!

MARIA, on May 1, 2020 at 12:25 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
So my wedding will be next year(thanks covid😔) but I've been trying to make a list of everything i need to buy. My venue holds 100 people i bank on around 80 people to show up. So far i know i was going to have beer/soda/water/(juice for the 6 kids invited) and aguas frescas. I had planned on maybe choosing 3 special drinks with tequila/vodka/whiskey. My venue offers a bartender but i have to provide the alcohol. Any ideas of good signature drinks. My F.H. wants me to add wine and buy champagne for the toast even though I've never had it and he says it tastes disgusting. Any idea of how much to get of everything? Or if this is too little or too many options? Please help!!!

For signature drinks maybe think of two- grooms favorite and brides favorite

Signiture since its 3, you could meet up with a mixologist, and do one of yours, one of his, and one you chose together.
For the champagne, you could look into sparkling wine( fraction of the price, and some, I vouch for NYX I like the best, taste delicious!) So people will think its champagne, pics will look sophisticated as if it was champagne, and you dont drink, and waste money on, something not tasting.

Always prepare for the entire invited number to attend.

What do your guests like to drink? To make it easy, serve 2 signature drinks, one that each of you like.

If he/you/whoever thinks champagne is awful, don't waste your money on it. Toast with whatever guests are already drinking.

Hi Maria! I'd say skip the champagne if you don't even like it!! Most people toast with whatever is currently in their glass anyway! 😉

I think having at least one beer and one wine (or one white and one red) in addition to the 2-3 signature cocktails will make sure that you cover everyone's drinking preferences!
