Two Weeks Out!

Kylee, on July 1, 2023 at 9:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
I'm getting married on Friday, July 14, which is less than two weeks away! I've been doing so much wedding planning and DIY-ing the last few weeks, but I feel like I'm missing something. What are some last minute things I need to do?

Do you have a day of emergency kit? Mine will include blister cream, a sewing kit, and Tylenol, among other things.

Have an emergency bag like the previous person mentioned.

I'd make sure to have a sewing kit, good quality safety pins, tide pen, makeup blotting sheets for shine, comfortable flats to switch into, Tylenol and/or ubuprofen, period pads and/or tampons, breath straps, tissues, ...

Definitely an emergency bag! I had sewing stuff, a lint roller, chapstick, extra makeup (even though I got professional hair/makeup done), a hairbrush, deodorant, mints, hairspray and extra Bobby pins. Also bandaids, Advil and feminine products. Then think about anything that may be specific to you that you might need!

Marriage License if you haven't (depending on your states laws), also if you have a venue make sure to check with them to see if theres any permits or insurances they'll require you to have if you haven't already.

Make sure you have your marriage license (I made twp Day Of binders - one for my emergency bag and one for our day of coordinator that had contact info for wedding party and parents, vendor contact info, a copy of the seating info and ballroom layout/table layout, the timelines, and kept our marriage license in it)

    Emergency kit.

Make sure you have food available for wedding party during the day (while getting ready/during pics, etc) - we both had breakfast spreads during getting ready portion and I had a lunch available while we did our first look and family pics

Get your ring cleaned beforehand! Make it sparkle in those pics!
