Two dresses

Nicolette, on January 3, 2020 at 10:49 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
So there is a bridal boutique near me who was having a blow out winter wonderland sale. All sale dresses were marked down to $350. I wound up getting two. One princess Haley Paige dress (originally $6,000) and a tight one (originally $1,200). I couldn’t pass on this deal. Is it strange to wear the flowy tulle one for the ceremony and the tight one for reception and dancing? I mean I got two name brand dresses for under $800 and want to take full advantage during our wedding. They’re SO different!!!

Not strange at all! Lots of brides opt for a ceremony dress and a reception dress Smiley smile

Up to you how you wear them. People like to wear a flowy dress more for the reception to allow for dancing but as long as you can dance in it, wear it!

Congrats on finding two awesome dresses!

WOW! KILLER deal!!! I would have taken advantage, too! Smiley surprise

Also, where is this shop? LOL we had NOTHING like that happen where I live. Not once. Not ever.

LOTS of brides wear two gowns on their wedding day - one for the ceremony and one for their reception. Typically they wear a more fitted gown they don't have to drag around at the reception, something they can dance in and move around in easily.

If you're having your reception directly after the ceremony, be kind to your guests by not taking a day and a half to change into your new gown, though. LOL.

I'm doing something similar. My dress is a sheath silhouette so it's tight and perfect
for moving around. But I bought a big, fluffly tulle skirt to wear for the
actual ceremony so that I could have that princess feeling! It's easily removable for the reception.

They both sound stunning!! Get it, girl! Smiley heart

That is an insane deal!!!! I was a Hayley Paige bride and am super jealous at the bargain you got!

Anyway, to answer your question... you can wear the dresses in whichever order you want! It's your day!
