Two Anniversaries?

Yes. My parents celebrate their wedding anniversary and the anniversary of their first ever date. Celebrate whatever anniversary you want and however many you want. My husband and I were friends forever and can't actually agree on the date we went from friends to more so I call all of August our dating anniversary month. (Because it was sometime in August....or July)

Our dating anniversary is 2 days after my birthday so we always celebrated them together. I'm actually looking forward to a different anniversary that's not near any other event or holiday

We're probably still going to celebrate our dating anniversary. We will be together 11 years by the time we get married. My parents actually still celebrate there's but in subtle ways, like they write out cards to each other on their dating anniversary, so that's something we intend to do.

Our dating anniversary is January and our married is august, so we decided we would probably do something small for the dating one just to mark it.

DH proposed on the 1 year anniversary of us meeting (at the same place). Fortunately, that date is 7 months before our wedding anniversary. So, for our dating anniversary we usually go to that restaurant. We usually make a bigger deal out of our wedding anniversary.

We are getting married 4 days after our 10 Year Anniversary which is my actual bday but I def am celebrating the fact that we made 10 years together on my wedding day.

We got married the day before thre 19-year anniversary of our first date (we didn't want a Sunday evening wedding) .... we still plan to celebrate our anniversary on our first date "date."

We got married after being together 9.5 years. I fully intend on celebrating our dating engagement of 10 years as well as our wedding anniversary.

Are they somewhat close together? Our wedding date is very close to the date we met, and a bit before our "dating anniversary", so I'd imagine we'd celebrate a year married/7 years together the first year and so on.

We will always celebrate our "dating anniversary" because that is the day we met each other, and changed each other's lives, and we haven't been anything but a couple since that day.

The day we got engaged is also a very important day to us, so that will be celebrated too.

And of course, from the wedding day on, we will stay at the same hotel and go to the same restaurant for dinner every year on our wedding anniversary.

I think it's completely up to you. My FH and I will still celebrate our dating anniversary because we want to. So we will do a small dinner for our dating and something bigger for our wedding anniversary every year.

We're getting married 2 days after our 6 year anniversary. Just worked out that way and we love it

I tried to get a venue for our Tenth anniversary, but fell short. So to compromise, we're getting married 3 days prior to that and I am happy that we'll be married BY our tenth anniversary. #validation
