Trying to figure out how to do this cohesively

Shantae, on July 17, 2019 at 4:35 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Hey ya`ll need tips, advice on this..

So far my hubster to be an I have come up with this :

1. get married on my parents porch

2. Have lunch or dinner(haven`t decided on a time yet) with everyone (we are only inviting like 15-20 people at most) out possibly rent a room in a restaurant for a small reception

3. instead of reception maybe go to the island/pigeon forge/gatlinburg (near where i live) where they have restaurants ,putt putt & other touristy things.

Sounds great. Try setting up 20 chairs on the porch to see how they would fit and figure out where exactly you want to stand. It looks a little small to me, but it would help if you actually set it up.

I agree with Michaela. It looks like it might be a tad cramped on the porch. Also I think the shape of it might make some guests feel secluded.

I actually just came from outside and pulled some of the deck chairs into a make shift aisle for both porches and i actually do agree. I am trying to not freak out. I know by then some of the things on the porch will be moved out but its like oh no because we are on a super tight budget.

On the upside I do live in a tourist town and there are plenty of nature and or venues around, I even saw that we could get married in the smoky mountain national park we would just have to lug stuff ourselves and we would just have the forest as our backdrop an nothing else. We would just need a permit.

You could also try local parks, a lot of times you can reserve a time for free or like $25-$50 and they have picnic or other tables. Or a rental company where you can rent chairs from, usually pretty cheap if they're just metal folding chairs.
