Trying on Hp’s Dalton (hopefully) at my first appointment!

So, the bridal salon that I’m going to for my first appointment (Swoon Bridal in Reno, NV) has been absolutely wonderful in terms of asking me about gowns that I’d like to try on. The other day on their Instagram, they posted about Hayley Paige’s new Spring 2021 collection and they anticipate getting some of the gowns in in February! My appointment is in May, so I have some time to think about which styles I’d like to try on but of course, they told me to DM them and let them know which styles I’d like to try on from the new collection... well, I couldn’t resist! I mentioned both the Byrdie and the Dalton. Those are my top two favorites from the new collection. The person I spoke with at Swoon said they would make a note in my file that those are the two gowns that I’m looking at. There’s the dilemma, though. My future MIL is coming to this appointment and if you recall, she made a comment about long sleeved gowns and how my tattoos will look “too busy”. I absolutely adore the Dalton! It’s so beautiful with all of the intricate lace! My “plan” is to hopefully try on both the Byrdie and the Dalton. I will try on the Dalton in the fitting room of course, and if I decide that I really love it and want to show it to my Mom and my MIL, then I will just have to bite the bullet and stand my ground. I know that I could probably wait until my second appointment later on, but I am DYING to get that gown on!
