Since I am going to start looking at gowns starting next month (a LOT sooner than I anticipated), I decided to possibly move up my appointment at the Reno salon to December instead of May. I say possibly because I am waiting for the salon to be in touch as they are going to inquire about having the Lumi and the Hayley gowns shipped to them for me to try on! I am keeping everything crossed that it can be done!
I would rather go in to try those gowns on sooner than later instead of waiting to May (the main reason why I wanted to wait until May is because I was told that shopping any sooner than a year out from my wedding date is too soon, but with Covid, etc. I figured any time is a good time to start... plus I have my list of favorites pretty much nailed down at this point!). Also, having the trunk show gowns fresh in my mind will make it easier for me to make a decision. I highly doubt that I will purchase a gown at my very first trunk show even if there is a discount applied, I don't want to make too rash of a decision.
The salon here in my hometown, while they do carry some HP and Blush by Hayley Paige gowns, they operate a little differently than a bigger salon and I don't think they can have them shipped in for me to try. The Reno salon is only a couple hours drive away so I can easily make the trip in a day. Just my Mom and I would be going, so I am definitely hoping that this can work out!
