Try on bridesmaid dresses at home?

kgirl, on July 17, 2016 at 10:19 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Hey all! I have come across the concept of a few websites that will send you up to 3 bridesmaid dresses to try on at home for $10 each. I love this idea because I'd love to have the ladies over for wine and I think it'd be so much fun! One site is Brideside...we are going with mint and from what I can tell of their colors, they're not the mint I'm looking for (but maybe I need to see in person). The other is Kennedy Blue, which may not send you a sample in the color you're looking for. Does anyone know of any other sites like this?!

I love some dresses on Weddington Way, but it looks like they no longer do at home try on!

Brideside, Kennedy Blue, and Azazie are the only ones I know of. I think Azazie has the same policy as Kennedy Blue about just sending dress style/size not always the preferred color.

I debated between Azazie and Kennedy Blue because my bridesmaids live all over the country so an online retailer works best for us. I ordered fabric swatches from Azazie and KB and then narrowed down choices. I was able to see 2 of the 4 bridesmaids (one of which was MOH) and they picked the final color. I'm going to pay for them to each to try on two styles at home, but if it were possible to get everyone in the same city I would totally do your try-on party idea!

I bought a few of my bridesmaid dresses on poshmark, for a really good deal. They were gently worn, but after a dry clean they LOOK AMAZING. All my girls are wearing different styles, so this was easy. I spent about $15-$40 per dress.
