    Most bridal salons only carry a smaller selection of any one designer. At a trunk show they generally have the entire season's collection of gowns, and they'll throw in a financial incentive for you to purchase during the trunk show (I got 10% off and a free customization). If you really like a certain designer, they're great to go to!
