Trumpet wedding dress vs. modified trumpet dress

What's the difference between a trumpet dress and a modified trumpet dress?! Does that mean the bottom is more like a mermaid or more a-line? I'm so confused can someone please explain thank you!

Pretty sure that the modified wont have such a drastic and severe drop to it that the trumpet does.
