Tropical Honeymoon

I haven't personally done a Sandals vacation but we have had friends that did Sandals & Secrets Resorts and they seemed happy overall. We went to Hawaii for 7 nights and had the best time!

We're going to Belize. We've never been before but we chose it because it's supposed to have an amazing coral reef for awesome snorkeling and diving and it also has rainforest for fun activities like ziplining, cave tubing and wildlife. We're staying for a week on an island and a week on the mainland at an all-inclusive that includes excursions. It was much more affordable than the other options we explored.

If you’re gonna do Groupons though make sure to read any fine print

It's hard to look at per night for sandals. Just go to their website find a resort you want and then enter the dates and see the price there.

We are doing 9 nights at Sandals Jamaica for $5500 total. Keep in mind that price includes EVERYTHING - Lodging, all your meals, all drinks, water sports, parties, events.... It’s really not that much when you think of everything you get for it. That’s the advantage of an all inclusive, you pay everything up front, and don’t have to worry about buying meals and activities - unless you add excursions and such. They are always having deals. We booked right after New Years, and got a couples massage and catamaran cruise thrown in with our booking. Def worth checking out.

Edit to add - we splurged on a luxury honeymoon room, with an ocean view balcony. There are lots of room options based on what you want to spend.

We're doing Sandals as well for our wedding and honeymoon. We're staying 7 days and came in under $6,000, with the over the water chapel and our boy's room, they're staying 3 days. Its definitely worth the money to us.

Costco Travel!

We are doing a Sandal's trip to Jamaica at their South Coast location. We are paying $5,600 for a seven night stay and the ONLY thing that does not cover is flights. We are probably paying ~$520 a night for the two of us, but it's worth it for our honeymoon. They aren't a scam. We have had multiple friends take vacations with them and they all loved it.
