Trendy or Timeless? - Describe your dress style

Fun thread! I would say my dress style is classic with a twist:

Definitely timeless ... with a twist? I have a sheath dress, so the silhouette is definitely timeless as this has been a common style for years, however instead of traditional lace, my dress has white sequins on the top which gives it just enough sparkle without "over the top" bling! (I was a dancer for 15 years so I guess I wasn't ready to give up the sequins yet?)

I think that is the twist, since lately I haven't seen a lot of sequins on dresses/covering dresses other than little hints here and there. I wanted something traditional and elegant that still spoke to my personality!

I think its classy. I took the poof out to make it smaller and more flowy

Timeless for sure!

I guess mine is timeless with a twist as well? I'm not sure. All I know is I LOVE MY DRESS!!

I respectfully disagree that the dress in the "timeless photo is not that timeless, that one is trendy, in my opinion.
Mine was classic and timeless, lace sleeves, Empire waist, simple and lovely.

I wanted to go trendy so badly, but ended up timeless when I could hear my fiance saying "nice doily" in my head. And in fact, one of my bridesmaids said he would say that after I thought it!

I went with a more whimsical style I knew I did not want a white gown. Not really classic but it's a soft ball gown. Side note everyone's dresses are stunning.

I went with timeless and simplistic. I knew I'd be looking back on photos decades from now and I didn't want to regret anything lol

These two dresses are what I seem to like as far as styles. So I guess trendy but I would call it either vintage or boho. Have not went shopping yet so not sure which one I will love more.

I’d say timeless I guess..It’s just a simple princess gown w/ lace detail in the bodice

I'd say mine is more classic with a modern twist.

I ended up with a dress way more traditional than I expected. The fit and flare style might be more modern but the lace detailing and long train is definitely more timeless.

Don’t have a picture of me in my dress but I would definitely say it’s timeless.
