Traveling with Ring

If you’re uncomfortable, I think you should wear the band.

I don’t wear my ring to the gym because I treat it like a baby 😂 so I’m probably the wrong person to ask, but I won’t be traveling with my ring. I’d rather just wear my silicone band than worry I’ll lose it or if it’ll get stolen.

Unless you have insurance on it i would stick with just the band

I wear my ring everywhere but if you are nervous about wearing it then leave it at home.

If you're at all nervous I'd just leave it at home. It's not worth stressing over.

If you're nervous, trust your gut. Leave it at home.

I would be safe rather than sorry! The plain band will serve its purpose and give you piece of mind that your true ring is home safe and sound!

I would wear just the band because youd seriously regret it if something were to happen during your travels. it might be smart to purchase a temporary ring (walmart, pandora, etc.) just so you still have something special and dressy with you but not "real". i have a travel set that is much smaller and much less expensive than my real rings. just a suggestion!

If you don't take it off then wear it. If you're uncomfortable then don't!

If you want a travel ring, check out the Modern Gents Trading Co. They have gorgeous cubic zirconia sets for a 100 bucks that look very real. I just ordered a set because I need to get my ring resized and didn't want to be without a ring.

My jeweler told me to never wear my ring to the gym or when washing dishes. They've heard everything. Bands get bent at the gym and stones get lost down sinks. I plan to wear only my band when we go on our honeymoon. For that matter...anytime I swim.

You can look into getting a CZ version of your ring, it’ll look similar to the causal passerby, but it costs maybe $20 instead of whatever your real time cost. Or you could look into silicone rings for travel.
