Travel Insurance for Weddingmoon?

Kristi, on August 17, 2020 at 10:01 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4

We are doing a weddingmoon/elopement in Jamaica next June. Under normal circumstances I never get travel insurance, but I am considering it for this occasion given all of the current unknowns in the world right now due to covid. Thoughts?

It’s not a bad idea but keep in mind most travel insurance policies do not work if you cancel because you no longer want to travel due to Covid, especially if you booked after the pandemic started. It would only work if you actually got Covid or something like that. I work for a travel company lol

Ok! Thank you! I'm supposed to call my travel agent this afternoon and discuss all the pros and cons. We are ready to pay off the trip but if we chose to add the insurance we need to do so now with this payment.

Sounds like you're on top of things!! Just double-check on any potential Covid-19 restrictions before purchasing!

Hi Bobbie! I've stayed at Half Moon Bay before in Jamaica and it was SO nice!! Incredible accommodations and stunning beach views! 🏖️
