Travel agent or book our own?

You could always get quotes from travel agents. I always book my own though just because I've always found it cheaper booking my own

I'm trying to figure that out too. Though I'm still a long way away from the honeymoon. On one hand I like to research and book my own travel. On the other hand we haven't a clue where to go or what to do. A travel agent might have great ideas we'd never think of plus they have a lot of connections which could lead to good deals or something different. Sorry. I'm no help at all! lol

I had two travel agents give me quotes. They were higher than what I found, however they suggested some resorts that I hadn’t found on my own. Their suggestions were great and we are most likely booking at those resorts now.

There’s no harm in asking them for a quote. Also I have heard that booking with agents gives you a better chance at getting an upgrade, idk if this is true but I heard it

To be honest, I think my FH and I will be bypassing travel agents!
