Trash the Dress

Hrlygrl, on May 22, 2019 at 6:05 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4
I decided to do a trash the dress photo shoot during our honeymoon. Has anyone done this while in another country and what did you do with your dress after?

I’m doing a trash the dress the morning after my wedding on the beach at sunrise. But the beach is attached to my venue so I don’t know about traveling with the dress. I plan on having mine cleaned afterwards and donating it. Unless it’s truly trashed, then I’ll just toss it. I am SO excited for those pictures.

I'm not sure whether to leave it at the hotel or find a place to donate it in Mexico or bring it back home.
I'm so excited though. A few more weeks

It was a trash the dress session, but we did a bridal photo shoot on our minimoon. I had a separate suitcase for my dress and his tux, it’s giant. My dress was slightly wet/dirty afterwards. I we left a few hours later, so I folded it back in and hung it up when we got home. I still need to have it cleaned/preserved but it traveled fine.
I took it out of he suitcase as soon as we arrived and hung the veil in the bathroom to be steamed. Everything looked great by picture day!
You can also carry it on the plane as your carry on
