Transportation

I've been in two weddings, neither provided transportation. Both times my husband dropped me off early for getting ready in the morning, then drove or ubered to the wedding before the ceremony & we left together. We personally provided transportation, I think it's way easier on everyone since the bridesmaids & groomsmen spend so much on the wedding but it's certainly not required. We spent an extra $3,500 on transportation for groomsmen, bridesmaids, a getaway car, and all guests for the wedding.

I don't see why you'd need to provide transportation if the ceremony & reception are at the same location. Unless it's a destination wedding and everyone will be staying at a hotel, then I might consider it. But definitely not a must!

No, it's definitely not mandatory! I think it can help to offer transportation to the bridal party but it's not required, and if you do want to offer help with transportation it doesn't have to be a party bus/limo.

My ceremony and reception are being held in the same venue. The only form of transportation that we are booking for our wedding will be the getaway car for myself and future husband for our grand exit.

Our ceremony and reception are in the same location but we will be providing transportation for both sides of the bridal party the day of the wedding to get to the ceremony. It was super simple to just add a few more hours to the hotel transportation and it saved me the headache of worrying about carpooling.
