Guests generally take care of their own transportation unless the couple has the means to cover it.

If you have a lot of guests staying at the same hotels then that would ideally be nice if you could afford to do so

You don't have to, but it may be nice. The hotel I blocked rooms with had a shuttle I could rent for the night for $200, and it did trips both from the hotel to the venue and vice versa. I thought it was a nice thing for my guests who were staying at the hotel to not have to worry about drinking and driving and transportation.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I paid for transportation and no one used it.

If they are staying at a hotel or on the resort not sure where your wedding is I would and am. I paying for transportation after the wedding for anyone staying on resort property. I explained they just need to get to the venue which Is actually walkable distance for most. I explained all they need is to get there if anyone drives they can comes back the next morning to get their vehicle. Our transportation will run from 8pm to 12am wedding ends at 10pm but there is a bar upstairs we can all hang at after the wedding is over. The transportation will do as many rides home as needed from 8pm-12am. We have kids coming too so we wanted to ensure people could get home safely with their children and earlier if needed.
