Transportation

Most places we considered had a 3 hour minimum.

We used two shuttle buses (15 person max) for bridesmaids/mom/me to get to the venue and groomsmen/groom/dads. Then we used a limo for bride & groom post wedding, and large shuttle buses (55 person max) for guests to & from the venue (so bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents ended up on those buses back).

My ceremony and reception were at the same place, but for my brother's wedding he rented a trolley. I believe they were charged a flat fee for the day.

We have this problem because our getting ready location is a 5 min drive to the venue. I wanted a special ride, but they’re all a 3 hour minimum and rides range from 300-600. We’re doing Uber.

Our wedding will be almost identical so what we are going to do is get a limo service that has a 3 hour minimum. They are going to take each wedding party (bride and groom) separately to the church from the hotel and then after the ceremony an hour later pick up the groomsmen then bridesmaids and then the parents then they will pick up the bride and groom and take them back to the hotel. I know there will be some down time during the ceremony but we are willing to accept that for the type of transportation that we want.

Thanks guys. I wanted something special but I didn't want to pay a huge amount of money. I certainly love using the one limo service to transport everyone and also the trolley. It's getting so close to our date and I feel like I'm going nuts.
