Transportation advice

I had wanted a limo too but many don't want to waste their time on a one way trip so UBER has a luxury XL for up to 6 people and I may just do that.

Everyone just found their own way there. I rode with my Mom, and then to go home, with H.

You can just rent a nicer rental car - most rental car companies have some luxury cars. You may not be able to rent a Ferrari but can get a nice black Mercedes or something if having a classy ride is important to you. Or if you live in a metropolitan enough area, what about an Uber Black?

Personally I think fancy vehicles are overrated and unless you have a particularly long ride between venues, being in a really fancy car for 15 minutes vs a freshly cleaned everyday vehicle isn't going to make or break your wedding day experience.

If you are looking to transport a group of people, a yellow school bus can be a lot of fun. Where I am it is pretty common for couples to rent a school bus to transport people from the venue back to the hotels after a night of partying, but that's a bit different than ceremony to reception transportation for just the couple or the wedding party.

We paid $350 one way for limo transportation from our venue to our hotel at the end of the night.
