Traffic Info with Invitation

Stephanie , on September 25, 2018 at 1:13 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

Hi everyone! I am getting married on a Saturday in a busy area outside of Charlotte, NC. Anyone who knows the area will tell you traffic is a NIGHTMARE. All of our guests are coming from out of town and most are coming the morning of. Would it be bad to put some sort of small note in with our invitations basically telling everyone to give themselves time and be ready for tons of traffic?

Thanks in advance! Smiley heart

I think you could include a directions card, and maybe include a note on there about the traffic!

I would put it on the details or directions card and website. NOT on the actual invitation.

I'm including a details card with our invites. It will have our hotel block & directions to the venue. It will also mention the traffic getting to the venue because it's the same weekend as a huge renaissance festival in the area!

Not Monroe. But straight up 77 to Mooresville. There's no escaping that traffic.
