Traditions

I'm not sure how traditional is but I'm not doing a first look. One I personally think my fiance would really be as into that but also for me personally I don't want him to see my dress until the ceremony and I'm hiding it until then.

We are doing a first look and decided to cut out speeches. We will be doing a wine unity as part of the ceremony too

We’re doing a hand fasting ceremony and are doing mead instead of champagne for the toasts as we are of Celtic descent. We’re also doing the traditional no seeing each other until the ceremony

We won't see each other before the ceremony. We're also doing a sand ceremony and jumping the broom (extra but I liked the meaning of them both). We are also doing the boquet toss, not sure about the garter yet. On the flip side, FH says he is against a first dance. No parent dances either. We'll also be doing a celebratory shot instead of a traditional champagne toast.

My fiancé and I are doing a traditional wedding on Friday and the church and receptions on Saturday. My family and his family would be wearing different kind of African attire
