No, that's not true. You can wear whatever color you want.

Nope! Most people just opt out of true white because it doesn't look great on a good chunk of people. I chose an ivory champagne dress with ivory lace because I am pale and white would have made me look like Casper the ghost.

Wearing white has nothing to do with virginity. Wear whatever color you want!

Nope. That’s is a complete myth. The white wedding dress trend traces back to Queen Victoria who just happened to wear white when she married Prince Albert. From there wearing white at your wedding was a sign of wealth because white dress were hard to keep clean and thus couldn’t easily be worn again. White wedding dresses as the norm for the non super rich didn’t take off until after WWII when women started buying dresses specific for the wedding and new technologies made clothing easier to clean.

You can wear whatever the heck you want, virgin or not! That ship sailed long ago for me, but I’m still wearing a white dress!

I'm wearing white and both of my daughters are in the wedding lol my mom and FSIL made comments about it but oh well. Like PP said and I was also told by one of the consultants where i got my dress. White isn't flattering on all skin tones so I think thats the deciding factor these days. Rock what you want!
