Traditional 3 piece suits or Rustic jeans, vests and ties???

Our wedding is in end of September at Churchill Downs in Kentucky and I am trying to decide between the rustic jeans, vests and tie look or the traditional suits look. Our wedding group is small with only 2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen. I want it to be special and somewhat fancy but not sure if the suits option is too done up for our personal style. We are a horse ranch family and pretty laid back. The wedding theme is obviously horse racing but its a destination wedding for us so its supposed to be more fun than traditional. Any suggestions would help. My dress goes with either style choice, so I'm kinda stuck.
