Hey guys, my invites and RSVP cards got delivered today!! Im so excited, I love how they came out!

Now the day isn't until 9/28 what do you suggest is a good time to send them out? Also how have you guys kept track of the rsvp cards that came in/people you need to call bc you haven't received a response?

Google sheets has been my best friend for everything wedding, and I have it set up to keep track of rsvps as well.

Also, just as something extra I did, I bought invisible ink markers from amazon with black lights and wrote a number in the bottom corner of each rsvp... just in case people forget their names Smiley winking

Second numbering them and keep an Excel spreadsheet.

Invites should go out 6-8 weeks before the wedding. RSVP deadline should be no earlier than one month prior to the wedding.

I'm doing it on the knot and you can also select their meal choice. You can then export it to excel sheet. So easy and super helpful

I have a spreadsheet with everyone's name and address and how many people are in their group (SO, kids, etc). This is also where I'm keeping track of the number written on the back of the RSVP. I was told to number them in case someone forgets to write in their name. Where is your list of people you are inviting?

I love the invisible ink black light idea. You ladies are ingenious.

RSVP date has to go by the deadline your caterer gives you for final numbers. My final numbers are due a month before so I actually had to make my deadline 5 weeks before the wedding. You should give yourself 1-2 week before the numbers are due to follow up with guests who do not respond.

I'm just tracking mine in excel. I enter the number of people they say are attending and I have a sum formula on that column.

Invites are sent 6-8 weeks in advance. My venue needs final numbers 3 weeks beforehand so we sent ours 9 weeks out. For tracking, I made a spreadsheet with guest name, attending yes/no, meal, and table number

Hi JNav! If you've added your guests into WW's guest list tool you can update their RSVP status and track all of your RSVPs there!

So far, we're just tracking "no" responses... and we haven't gotten one yet.

I'm tracking my RSVPs two ways: Excel, and The Knot's guest list tool.

It appears that the excel sheet thing is everyone's main go to. I'll have to create one. thankfully we don't need to add food selection for our guests as our venue has an excellent menu where a pre selected menu option isn't needed.thanks everyone for your wonderful tips!! It will definitely make like easier.

    ** 153 days to go!!!! **
