Totally NWR-Clinique VS Estee Lauder.... advice!

Katie, on May 1, 2012 at 10:24 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

Lately, I have noticed that I am getting a few sun spots on my face. I know there are TONS of different brands that have products for this concern but I am trying to decide between Estee Lauder's Idealist Even Skin Illuminator or Cliniques Even Better.

Here's the best part... I WORK for BOTH companies, lol so I should definitely know this because I tell my customers about the products everyday... however, I've never actually experienced either one, because before now, I never had those concerns. If you ask me which foundation is better, I could tell you without thinking because that is a product that I have a lot of experience with!

I tend to lean towards Estee Lauder's products more often than Clinique's but Even Better is one of Cliniques best sellers so I'm just not sure!

Has anyone tried either one of these products? If so, what is your feedback??

Hi Katie. I used to work for Estee Lauder and I can honestly say the Idealist Even Skin Illuminator is by far one of the BEST products they have come out with in a long time. I absolutely love it. The Illuminator helps not only with sun spots but with aging and redness and other things that you may not be aware of, it is good for all skin types where as Cliniques Even Better is only good for normal/combination skin. I would go with Estee Lauder hands down.

I was thinking that too, because I wear everything else in Lauder... The problem is, I just got my gratis (I am sure you know what that means lol) and OF COURSE the Idealist wasn't available... but the Even Better was... so I just went ahead and got it (hey it was free!) and I figure I will try it out and if it comes to it, I will just buy the idealist... I love how silky it is and I already use the eye illuminator... I have a couple samples of the Idealist that I am using now. I am a little red (sometimes) and even aside from the sun spots, I just feel uneven and I feel like the Even Better is strictly for dark spots and that the Idealist is just for complete evenness. (if that makes sense)

Yeah that makes complete sense. I'm the same way. I would've got the even better too if it was free. But I couldn't agree more that illuminator corrects all uneven-ness and not just sunspots.

Estee Lauder owns Clinique, their products are almost identical

They do own clinique... I am aware of that... But their products are completely different formulas... Estee Lauder owns A LOT of very different cosmetic companies... Its a very common misconception that the products of sister companies are so similar.

    ray ban サングラスは、カジュアルなファッションアイウェアと見られています。そのせいで、レイバン wayfarerはどこでも見えるようになりました。そして、レイバン RB2140の出番は多いそうです。
