Torn between two dresses!

Rebecca, on February 21, 2020 at 9:24 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 50

Please help! I can't decide on a wedding dress and have literally tried on hundreds of dresses (I'm a perfectionist, but also indecisive). My wedding is in October so I have less than one week to order due to how long it takes to make the dress and allowing time for alterations. It took me forever to narrow it down to just two. Our ceremony will be in a forrest and our reception will be in an old-timey grand ballroom with wood panels everywhere. Which one should I say "yes" to? Or should I keep looking until there's no question it about it being the one? Also, sorry the pictures aren't the best and I don't have a photo of me with a veil in one of them, but definitely going with a cathedral length veil either way. Any feedback much appreciated. Please be honest. Thank you!!

The first one, hands down. They're both lovely, but that one is very striking on you.

I am like you (perfectionist and indecisive). I kept trying on dresses until I found the one I just couldn’t take off. I think it’s worth it to pay any rush fees for the dress and/or alterations I exchange for knowing it’s the right one!!

But, if you feel like you HAVE to decide between these two, I like the second one. It is a touch more unique than the first.

I love second one. It's more "foresty" to me and more cohesive.

By the way, is that The Collection Bridal in Winter Park, FL?

Ouffff this is tough. I absolutely love the first but for some reason I want to say the second dress for you! It’s stunning and there’s just something about it that is mesmerizing!

I love the second one. The floral details and the way it gives you an hour glass shape 🙌🏾. Gorgeous.

First one, definitely. I don't like the skirt structure of the second one and it looks kind of cluttered on the bodice.

I feel like the style of the first one goes really well with your ceremony location and theme but I lovee the way the second looks on you more. You look great in both dresses but I really like the second one!

I know, finding a dress has been way more exhausting than I thought! I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, but then I couldn't find anything that fit all my criteria and then there was a moment where I was torn between a ball gown (something I was completely against until I tried one on and felt like a princess). Having to make appointments and deal with consultants is also inconvenient. Unfortunately, I don't think rush fees will be an option though. Both dresses are already outside my original budget given all the additional things like little customizations, veil, and alterations. Thank you so much for your input!

Thank you! For the picture on me I was clumping the bodice fabric because I want to raise the flare point slightly higher and since I was wearing a sample size with clips in the back it was clumping majorly. That's why I tried to include the model pictures. But the flower appliques are bit more 3D so not sure if that's what you're referring to or the wrinkles show on me.

Thank you for your feedback! Interesting, one of my concerns was that I was unsure if the pattern of the first one even matched my theme, but good to know that someone thinks it would still go well in a forrest/ballroom.
