I love my dress and it now fits me like a glove. But I feel so skinny, and I know I'll hear those comments about me needing to eat a burger. I hate being so skinny, always been. I've tried to gain weight and I even eat more than FH who is struggling with losing weight! Its hard for us but I'm so...

I love my dress and it now fits me like a glove. But I feel so skinny, and I know I'll hear those comments about me needing to eat a burger. I hate being so skinny, always been. I've tried to gain weight and I even eat more than FH who is struggling with losing weight! Its hard for us but I'm so happy and grateful he understands and helps me through it. But I really don't want to hear more comments about him being too "big" and me being too "small". Any advice on how to stay positive? It just really bothers me almost hurts hearing some of the things people have said about FH and I.

@op you look amazing and definitely not "too thin". You definitely have a thin build and that is what makes you, you. I sort of have the opposite problem lol too many curves! Body image is one of those weird topics and everyone feels that have a right to comment on someone else's body. Like my grandmother always said, " if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all".

I would try a sparkly belt or a sash. This gives an illusion of "curves" and an hourglass appearance. Again, only if it bothers YOU. If you love your dress as is, wear it and look as gorgeous in it as you did in the above picture.

@Brittny, you are definitely not alone! My sister also ran on the smaller side, though not as small as me, and her twin was always 20-40 pounds overweight, and my mom was about 80 pounds overweight. So people used to give my mom a hard time and ask if she was eating all my food, but yet would give me a hard time about being too skinny.

Some people are just jerks, and we just have to learn to ignore them, even though it is SO HARD!!! After having kids, I definitely dont have that issue any more and sometimes wish I did though, lol. Now, I have a hard time losing weight. DAMN Old lady metabolism, lol

You look amazing! I know the feeling of not being able to gain weight (it only happened on one med once I stopped it the weight started melting with me doing nothing) and how frustrating that is. My school put me on free lunch program so they could track that I was eating cause they believed I was anorexic and friends always said I was too skinny along with family (italian). You look amazing and what matters is that you and FH are happy and love each other not other people's snide rude remarks.
