Too Restrictive

It's your day so if that's what you want I'm sure they will understand. You are allowed to be a little strict for your wedding.

I think that’s fine to ask of them if you really care, but I had a strapless dress and so did one of my bridesmaids and I never gave it a second thought lol

I dont think that's too restrictive seeing as I'm sure their are many options that they can choose that would fit what your vision is.

I don't think the parameters you set for their dresses are too restrictive. It is your wedding day! They have a wide variety of styles to choose from.

I'd let them pick their own dress. Strapless or not. I did the same thing but let the girls pick their own dress style 100%, they seemed much happier. My dress was strapless, none of our guests or bridesmaids that had a strapless dress looked similar to me or took away from my dress.

Just do a filter for the criteria that you’re asking for on Azazie and see how many results come up to make sure there’s still plenty of options. I thought I was being restrictive too as I had a few more requirements than just length and color but when I put everything into a filter on Azazie, it still brought back 276 results. It’s crazy how many dresses Azazie has!

It's your day, and your vision. So, the bridesmaids should wear whatever dress(es) meet that vision. There is no such thing as "too many restrictions."

You can create a showroom on Azazie, that has only the dresses you like. Your ladies would pick from those, rather than everything on the site. It makes it a bit easier when you narrow down the options.

I don't think that's too restrictive at all. Lots of people assign everyone the same dress. I am going to make a list off Azazie of dresses that they can choose from so that there will be some consistency between fabrics/styles but they can still be comfortable.

They are luck they get to choose the style lol. I personally don't think it is restrictive, but I also see that people wont really pay attention to it. Just as Gen said. I don't think it will make or break your big day!

I did the same with my bridal party. And they all said whatever the bride wants lol. I don't think it's too restrictive, it's your day !
