Too much man bulge

Emily, on November 23, 2018 at 1:37 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7
Ok im really sorry to bring this up but I don’t know where else to turn and it’s a big issue so I’ll just get straight to the point- how the heck does one hide crotch bulge in dress pants? My man is well endowed and when we went suit shopping today I learned that dress pants show EVERYRHING. It didn’t seem to matter what style or fabric of pants he tried on, everything just seemed to “hug” that area too much. Is there some secret to reining in the trouser snake besides wearing excessively large/baggy pants or jeans? Lmao sorry but I really don’t know what else to do or who to ask

Op I just have to lol. I have zero advice but will see what others chime in with. I thought periods on wedding night (that ship sailed many years ago for me) were unique but this question tho a valid one presents a whole new discussion. I'm sure you will get some great feedback😎

A proper tailor can deal with that.

Just like seamstresses work miracles on dresses, tailors work them on pants and jackets. Talk with a tailor and ask for advice. It may be suggested to purchase a larger size and have them taken in, or to find a higher waisted pant that can be altered. Worst case scenario, he might have to go the custom suit route. It likely won't be as expensive as you think. Also, snugger underwear, or a different style or brand, could come in handy. A lot of men swear by Duluth Trading Company's underwear.

I’d go for a different style of underwear that can keep everything in place a little better (think : sports bra for men, haha!). I know under armor makes a nice snug boxer-brief , something like that could do the trick.

If undies don't do the trick, they do make specific "slings" for the stage and screen to hide bulges, you could probably find some on Amazon.

Yup I noticed the same thing. FH didn't believe me until I showed him the picture of him in a rental tux. We decided to have his tux custom made for many reasons but that was one of them.

Hi Emily! Welcome to WeddingWire and congrats on your engagement!

The others said it perfectly here, a proper tailor or seamstress will definitely know what to do! A custom dress pant or a different underwear style may also help and are good options!
