Too much hoochie cleavage?

Private User, on May 4, 2013 at 5:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

This is my dress......I'm not a small girl- size 12. Do you think the neckline is showing too much?

Depends how it looks on you. The model in my dress is really low cut! Too much for my taste. But on me, it's perfect (and I'm right near your size). Do you have a picture?

WEeeeeeelll.....I have a large chest and my dress has the same neckline. I'm not the biggest fan...but it can be really tough to just make the girls stay covered as much as I'd like...especially if it's strapless. I'm sure it will be fine though....as long as it fits snug, you should be good to go!

I don't have a pic of me in the dress- my mom is putting a corset in it the dress and it's taken apart at the moment, so I've never tried one a size that fit me. I tried on a size 18 at the bridal shop, so it's really hard to say for sure but as I recall it looked about the same on my bust area.

It's going to be real snug, so I don't think I'll be wearing a bra....hopefully no one's grandma (or grandpa) will be offended!! LOL

I'm a 36-38D in my strapless gown and I actually look like a 36C. I think if it fits against the girls well enough you should be ok. There's always the jump test, lol.

I think that pic is a case of the dress is actually too big for her and than they photoshopped it. Won't know until you try it on.

Hey tigger, why do you have that style dress if you have big tatas and arent the biggest fan of that style? Anyways, you should post a pic so we can see and then we'll be able to tell you!

It does depend on how they fit in there. It is sadly one of those things have to see to know.

Agreed with previous posts. The way it looks on the model isn't going to look the same on you.

Personally I would wear it from the photo.

This is a good alteration comes in. I am a busty girl, 36DDD and I have to get bigger dresses so they can be altered down for the rest of my body. Just remember the tighter the dress the more they'll be trying to escape.

If the dress fits you properly in the bustline and altered correctly you shouldn't have any problems.

One way to get around this is to order the dress to fit your bustline measurement as close as possible. If you are in between 2 sizes, order the dress in the larger size. I know alterations will come into play, but this is the only way this is going to work!

Bought the dress at a sample sale...so my alteration options are leave it or have my mom add a small panel with bling or something in there to cover a little more.
