I told my mom we can't over invite but of course we did and now everyone is accepting!!@ I know this is bad but i need like 16 people to decline...lets pray that way we get down to our 170 number.

We only wanted 100 but ended up inviting 165 due to so many "obligation invites". we ended up with 140 yes & 25 no's which is way more than I hoped for. I have my fingers crossed that we'll have 40 no shows on the weddind day! I can take the extra food home so I'm not worried about paying for their plate, I fear the reception will get too crowded. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

We invited 125 with hopes of 100 or less. We have 76 yes & like 10 no. Our deadline is on the 1st so it's looking pretty good, but I was pretty nervous at first haha!

I over invited by a lot! I am inviting 108 (maybe a few more...) and hoping for 75. Of course we will pay if more people come, but I don't see how 20-30 people will not say no...

3/4ths of our guest list is from out of state, so who really is going to fly (like literally 500+ dollars) to see me get married? Hopefully not that extra 30 people!
