We got Married January 27 2018 in Cabo San Lucas. Is it too late to send out Thank you cards? How should I apologize for the delay?

The longest one I received was about 11 months later - I was still happy for receiving it.

I think you are fine, it's not that long, people probably know you have the honeymoon and then to get back and situate yourselves... I think this is a reasonable time for sending out.

I still haven't gotten a thank you card from my friend's wedding in June.

    I think you're TOTALLY fine.

I don't even think you'd have to apologize for the delay, it's a lot to do after a wedding!

You're not super late and it's always wonderful to get a card! we got married in May and did the majority of our thank yous in June, then kind of trickled through the last few over the next couple of months. better late than never is definitely the rule of thumb.

Send them and don't comment on the delay. Just let it be. No one should care about the delay Smiley smile

I think you could make a cute "Sorry for delay" thank you and kinda incorpart it in a cute way but I don't think its ever too late to say think you.

Well, you have 3 months to send them out before you're considered late by etiquette standards, so while coming down to the wire, you technically are still good. That said, even if it's been more than 3 months, you should still always send a thank you, because not sending one at all is much more rude than sending them late!! If you can get your butt in gear this weekend and get them out by Monday, no need to worry about apologizing for the delay.

I agree with PPs. Just send them now.

Side note, does anyone watch The Middle? This week Frankie made Axl send thank you cards from his 6th birthday. Better late than never. Cracked me up!

Never too late! Hopefully, you now have photos back from your photographer? Make a "thank you" card using a photo(s) from your wedding. Then people will think you were just waiting for the photos! (If you already bought thank you cards, you could enclose a photo or two).
