Too late for flowers?

the_m_series, on January 29, 2018 at 6:05 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11
Is it too late to get with a florist to price centerpiece flowers only? I don’t need bouquets for attendants, maybe just one for myself to carry down the aisle. My wedding is in late May, for reference.

Probably not - but be prepared that many florists aren’t available. But it’s still relatively far out ...

Definitely not! Just be prepared for a lot of florists to have your date booked. If you find someone who is still open, then I'm sure they would be happy to be a vendor for you.

Not at all- many florists can handle more than one wedding a day just call around. I think I hired mine about 3 months before my wedding

Nope. In addition to florists, check with supermarket florists as well. I've heard Whole Foods does a great job with wedding flowers.

Reach out to some asap. I'm May 5, and I finally got around to securing my florist for center pieces, my bouquet, petals for the aisle, chair markers, florals for our cake, an arbor, and boutonnieres and corsages.
... But like pp have said some floriss told me they were booked before I found mine.

Call around and check with a few florists, you never know who is available until you call. You may still have time but don’t wait too much longer.

Not too late at all! Check your local grocery store also...I used Publix who is doing has an in-house event team. They do amazing floral packages (and also deliver) for a fraction of the cost of a regular florist.

It cant hurt to try! I would reach out to florists and ask them if they are available to do it, or if they have pre-bundled bouquets you could purchase and pick up before your wedding. Because there isn't a ton of time left, Be sure to be flexible with colors and/or flower choices. If you absolutely cannot find a single florist that can help, then check your local grocery store florists and ask if they can arrange for bulk flowers to be delivered! I've heard that BJ's and Sam's club will do bulk flowers that you could DIY. Absolute last case scenario, buy fake flowers and DIY your own! I did and many other WW users do! here's my fake bouquet that cost less than $25

I don't think it's too late, but I would definitely reach out to as many florists as you can just to make sure you get a good option for prices for the ones who are available.

If you have a Costco membership, I would also check there. They have some wedding packages that include mini bouquets that can be used for centerpieces at a decent price! You'd just have to buy vases to put them in... they also sell bouquets.

    Good luck!

I found two great florists not booked on that day, and both quoted me for much less than I was expecting!
