Too early for dress shopping?

I'm going to be visiting my hometown where my mom and my best friend (maid of honor) live at the end of this month. I really want to go dress shopping with them since I'm not sure when I will be visiting again. I don't think I'd end up buying anything yet, but I at least want to go and get an idea of what dresses I like on me and ideas on pricing and such. It would be about 15 months away from my wedding, do you think this is too early to start looking??

    Absolutely not! You're in that sweet spot where you can look with the realistic expectation of "hey if I find a dress, I can go for it" but not feel the pressure to get one ASAP! This is the fun time Smiley smile Go in, try on some stuff, find out what you like, what flatters you, what designers you love, etc. and hey, if you find "the one" no shame in that either!

    You’re totally fine with looking or even buying! I looked (and bought) 14 months out and it took about 9 months to come in so it really wasn’t very early!
