Tonena Dress advice

Lindsay, on July 17, 2021 at 10:05 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
Hi all,

I’m enchanted by this Tonena dress on Etsy. I’m deeply not familiar with dress silhouettes, so I’d love to try on a dress with a similar silhouette to make sure I still love it. Does anyone have a dress I should try on in store to make sure it makes sense?
For context. I love the first and second slides of this post.
Thanks ladies!

Oh that’s gorgeous! The closest to try on locally would be an a-line. But they don’t typically have a hard distinction between the bodice and skirt like that. Take the picture in to a local bridal shop and tell them you want to try on styles that are similar. Don’t tell them you aren’t buying from them though.

A line is definitely the way to go for a similar silhouette. You could even try a skirt and top to give it the defined line between skirt and bodice. Also look for tulle skirts so you’ll have more of the flowy feeling versus a structured skirt.

Azazie has At Home Try-on wedding dresses for $15 per dress. You pick the dress, they send it to you, and you get to try it on for 7 days and you just ship it back with their pre-paid return label. And I have definitely seen similar silhouettes on there that you can try, to get an idea!
