I would never make my sister, or anyone else for that matter, wear something she was uncomfortable in. You knew her style when you asked her to be a bridesmaid. My “tomboy” lesbian FW would drop out of a wedding if she was forced to wear a dress.

Whew I’m so glad I opted out of the wedding party. My bff’s and her now husband avoided conflict all together and didn’t ask his sister to be in their wedding because she refuses to wear dresses. I agree with the previous poster, first ask her what she’s most comfortable with.

They have some very beautiful jumpsuits maybe get her a jumpsuit in the same color as the bridesmaids are wearing.

I second the jumpsuit idea! Went to a wedding recently where one of the bridesmaids was wearing a jumpsuit in the same shade as the other bridesmaids dresses. It looked awesome!
I definitely do not think having her dress the same as the grooms men would look good... unless you mixed them up and had groomsmen and bridesmaids on each side of you all at the altar.

Maybe try to find a jump suit with the color of the dresses? You want her to be comfortable

I would ask her because my sister’s best friend is a tomboy and hates dresses but wore one for my sister’s wedding. Sometimes people may surprise you with what they’re willing to do.

I would suggest let her wear whatever she is most comfortable with wearing

Maybe give her the option of a dress, a jumpsuit or a pant suit?
