This might get lengthy but this strong needs to be shared. My fiancé and I have been together since August of 2017 (I was 16 he was 17). We knew early on that despite being told “oh I don’t know how long you guys will last but good luck” or being told that we would never get married, that we loved each other more than your average high school couple. In January of 2018 we were separated by our parents. We were forced to cut all communication and we were told that we would absolutely never see each other again. In February of 2018 I talked to his parents and mine and got them on the same page that I wasn’t going to give up. They both agreed and on February 11th I surprised him at church. That’s how we knew we were special.
Fast forward to December of 2018 all is well and our family’s are getting along great. He and I knew we were ready to start planning to get married. So we talked to his parents and mine and they both were so beyond supportive with one condition that he wouldn’t officially propose until I had turned 18. That month we sat down with our church and booked our wedding for August 30th 2020. Since then with the help of my mom we’ve been making reservations, starting our guest list and other small things all while keeping it a secret from the outside world. (That was the reason I was on wedding wire before today)
Yesterday May 10th I turned 18. Today May 11th he got down on one knee during our yearly family photos and asked me to be his wife in front of both of our families ❤️
