To veil or not to veil?

GabbiV, on April 12, 2019 at 1:29 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

So..my wedding is in Oct 19 and we're having a brunch wedding...I'm planning on putting my hair in an up-do like this with some flowers:

To veil or not to veil? 1

NOW...I wasn't sure if i should add a veil or not! This is my dress...

With!To veil or not to veil? 2Without!To veil or not to veil? 3

What do you think?!

Looking at your dress, the back is all about that pretty lace top & veil kind of hides it. Veil would also compete with flowers in your hair, which look lovely in your inspiration photo. So I’d definitly go without a veil!

You could do the veil underneath the bun! That's actually my favorite way I've seen veils worn.

or you could do something like this:

I really think it could go either way. The style is pretty as is, and same with your dress. I just have a soft spot for veils.

I was going to suggest this same exact thing. Also, remember "you only get one chance in your life (if you're lucky) to wear a veil." I plan to wear one for the ceremony, and take it off for the reception.

Love the hairstyle you picked out! Not sure if this helps at all, but I am going to wear a veil for the ceremony, but take it out for the reception.

Date twin - well, a year after the fact Smiley smile

I love the look! But I do agree that if you would do a veil, clipping it underneath the bun may do the trick! I also had the veil/no veil discussion, and I ended up wearing it for the ceremony and some of the pictures, but took it out for the reception.

No veil. The back of your dress is so pretty and detailed I wouldn’t want to hide it

Hey! Have you made a decision on wearing a veil or not?

The hairstyle you are going to have is so pretty! What color flowers will you have in it?
