To Veil Or Not To Veil?

I didnt wear one. The choice was moreso because it just didn't look good on me. I chose a headband instead

I heard it came from arranged marriages so you couldn't tell if the bride was ugly until after you were married 🙄
I don't want one, I don't like stuff in my face or on my head.

There are various stories about veils. I’m wearing one because I think they look good and it makes me feel bridal.

I considered headbands for my bridesmaids and I but opted for a veil because my wedding planner thought it would look better in pictures. It was windy on my wedding day so the veil flying all around was beautiful.

View Quoted Comment I've heard the same thing and the 'hide the bride from evil spirits.' I think it might be a bit of both. In general, there's a lot of tradition around hiding the bride's appearance from the future husband.

I felt like I was wearing a costume when I did that.. So I went with bridal hair combs instead.

My veil is fingertip length!

I wore one because I thought it was beautiful and completed my bridal look.

I don't plan on wearing one! I think I would get annoyed by it!
