To tip or not to tip

We are having our engagement shoot tomorrow by our wedding photographer. Should I be tipping the photographer tomorrow or not? Part of me feels like yes but a small part feels no. Help!

If this photographer is also doing your wedding photos, I would tip them on your entire balance after the wedding. If they are not your wedding photographer, I would tip them once you get the engagement photos back. You don't really know how pleased you are with their services until you see the finished pictures. Either way, I wouldn't tip them tomorrow.

We did, I can't remember but I think I gave her a pretty decent amount 🤔

She is also doing my Reception photos so we will be tipping her again 💁‍
