To the bride with the cookbook guestbook...

I'm following this! What a great idea. Maybe collect recipes at the bridal shower and create your own cookbook?

I was thinking about sending out requests for favorite recipes with the STDs. When I got them all back I was thinking about getting them put into a book and taking that to the wedding and having the guests sign their recipe. this way the book was used after the wedding. My first wedding, I used the guest book to help with the thank you cards, but after that it sat in a box and never came out.

The bridal party did that for me at the shower. They asked everyone for a recipe and then presented me with a book of the recipes when I opened the gifts.

I was thinking about this too. I wanted to use a newly wed cookbook from Williams Sonoma! And then people would sign it on their fav recipe from the book.

I went to a shower where they did this. I thought it was cute, but honestly forgot about it until we arrived and the bride's mother LOST HER SHIT that several people didn't have the recipe cards. It was so weird. So just be prepared for people to not return a recipe card and don't freak out about it!

What a great idea.
