To hem or not to hem?? Pictures!!

Laura, on July 20, 2020 at 5:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
Do I hem my dress? I'm only 5' tall. So the dress does make a sweep train in the back. Would you hem it?

This is my dress on some others... Thoughts??

I don’t think I would unless it looks ridiculously off on you. Especially if you ever decide to resell it.

I would hem the front if it doesn’t give you that natural tea length dress cut you want from the front ☺️ Long trains are beautiful! But if your dress is too long from the back where people will be stepping on it in your reception then I’d say wear the heals you will be wearing or size your considering to wear when you get your dress tailored. You don’t want them to cut out too much either. It’s easy to cut out and hem but harder to repair damage ✨

Your dress is gorgeous! I would probably hem a couple inches so it doesn't drag behind you and get dirty.

What PP said. Just do a couple so it doesn’t drag and get dirty. Or you can always have it professionally cleaned afterwards

I don’t think I would either unless it was ridiculously long in the back where I drags but you might like the length as well

I would hem it. I’m 4’11” and I wouldn’t want it dragging that much on the ground. Beautiful dress!
