I don't like programs at all. They are a waste of money. People will look at it for a few seconds and then toss them. Not worth it to me.

There's totally not necessary and a waste of money IMO. I'm having a full Catholic ceremony and won't be doing a program. My guests know how long the ceremony will be. They don't need a program to follow along to.

My church does, however, display a powerpoint with each reading and song.

Hi everyone thank you all for the feedback. The wedding is not long and for the wedding party it's only 1 MOH 4 BM of them are my 2 sisters and on the groomsmen my 2 sons, my 8yrs is the ring bearer, his niece and my niece are the flowers girls like everyone know who is who. I like the fact that some would read it and some will leave them on the pews. I'm leaning hard about not having any at all. Thanks

We aren't doing programs because it's going to be a short and sweet ceremony from beginning to end..about 20 minutes. We will have a sign for people to know the timeline of events.

We are having a short ceremony (probably 10-15 minutes) so no programs. It's something I don't want to put brain power into, and I would hate to spend money on something that would pretty much be ignored.

We are having programs because we're having a longer, religious ceremony that my family isn't familiar with, so I wanted them to know what's going on.

We are doing a DW beach wedding, so we are not doing programs, but I am thinking I might do a sign for display with the names. At the beach entrance where we are having the ceremony there is a path for guests and right before it there will be a drink stand set up for them to grab something for during the ceremony, so I was thinking that would be a good place to also put the sign.

Not having programs. Our ceremony will only be about 20 minutes and I thought to save the money. I do agree that for religious ceremonies it could help for someone who may be confused about what's going on

We're not having programs. Like PPs, we're doing short, sweet, and to the point - and I agree that 1) most people really don't care who is who in the BP and 2) very few people will read them

I'm having a religious ceremony and my church advises providing programs, and they will send me the template.

I'm probably going to do it, but not 1 per guest. Probably more like one couple

We're having programs, but we are getting married in the Greek Orthodox Church and we want all of our guests to be able to follow along and understand what is going on.
